    Oswald the Oboe was a concept and packaging design for a series of interactive childrens books by Patricia Alban called The Music Box Series.

These short stories about musical instruments were to be produced with an accompanying audio CD/CD-Rom, each featuring a narration of the story, passages of classical music and interactive elements such as educational computer games and 'virtual' musical instruments.

A number of 'Digipak' prototypes were made, along with this Flash-animated overview of the project.
